Needle Punched Polyester Felt

Polyester felt is a non-woven felt fabric mainly made of short polyester (PET) fibers. It is produced through opening, blending, carding, web laying, needlepunching reinforcement, heat setting and finishing processes.With uniform pore structure and good air permeability, it features excellent dust release performance. It is resistant to weak acid and weak alkali, wear-resistant and tensileresistant at room temperature with high cost-effectiveness.

1.Raw material opening: Loosen short polyester fibers and remove lumps.

2.Fiber blending: Mix fibers proportionally for consistent performance.

3.Carding: Form uniform fiber web by carding machine.

4.Cross-lapping: Stack multiple layers to enhance transverse strength.

5.Pre-needling: Preliminary needle-punching to fix fiber web structure.

6.Main needling: Deep needle-punching to increase density, strength and flatness.

7.Heat setting / hot rolling: High-temperature shaping for dimensional stability.

8.Finishing: Singeing, calendering, water-oil repellent, anti-static, PTFE lamination, etc.

9.Inspection: Test weight, thickness, tensile strength, air permeability and filtration efficiency.

10.Slitting & winding: Cut into required sizes, wind into rolls for storage.
