PET Acoustic Panels Lead The Way – Combining Color And Performance
On the technological innovation front, PET (polyester) fiber acoustic panels are becoming one of the mainstream products in the colored acoustic panel market, thanks to their eco-friendly properties and color expression capabilities.
Take Hausome company as an example. Its PET acoustic panels offer 39 to 59 color options, with standard sizes covering 9mm × 1220mm × 2440mm and 12mm × 1220mm × 2440mm. The Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) can reach up to 0.85. This means that in typical office or classroom environments, the product can absorb 85% of incident sound energy, significantly improving speech intelligibility.
Technical highlights include:
CNC Carved Panels: CNC machining is used to create embossed patterns, regulating sound diffusion and absorption balance.
Embossed Textured Panels: A thermoforming process creates micro-textured surfaces, enhancing high-to-mid frequency sound attenuation.
