Viscose-based carbon fiber felt is made of viscose/rayon based carbon fiber. It features ultra-high purity, low thermal conductivity, soft texture and excellent ablation resistance.

Viscose-based carbon fiber felt is made of viscose/rayon staple via needle punching, pre-oxidation and high-temperature carbonization/graphitization. Compared with PAN-based carbon felt, it features ultra-low density, ultra-low thermal conductivity, ultra-high purity and superior ablation resistance, serving as core thermal insulation material for vacuum high-temperature furnaces.

3.Lightweight & flexible: density 0.085-0.11g/cm³, easy cutting, wrapping and shaping for complex furnace linings.

4.Anti-corrosion & anti-thermal scour: resist acid, alkali and high-speed hot airflow, long service life under vacuum.

5.Uniform conductivity & adsorptive capacity: can be activated for gas/liquid filtration.

Application
 


1.High-temperature thermal insulation for industrial furnaces

Used as lining insulation for monocrystalline silicon furnaces, SiC crystal growth furnaces, vacuum sintering furnaces and metallurgical furnaces to stabilize temperature field and reduce heat loss.

2.Aerospace thermal protection

Ablation-resistant thermal shielding materials for aircraft, rocket engine linings and vacuum thermal test chambers.

3.Electrochemical conductive electrodes

Serving as electrode substrates for flow batteries, electrolytic tanks and supercapacitors with rich porous structure.

4.Environmental adsorption and filtration

Activated felt for purifying acid-base waste gas, organic VOCs and adsorbing heavy metals in industrial wastewater.
